Earlier today, Ngāti Kuri Trust Board Chair, Harry Burkhardt, released a media statement announcing the resolution of the Deed of Settlement negotiation process and the February 7 signing event to be held at Te Rerenga Wairua. Signing could only take place after a ratification process where Iwi constituents voted whether or not to accept the proposed Deed and the accompanying Post Settlement Governance Entity (PSGE).
