Our AGM will be at Waiora Marae on 11th December 2021. We have five positions that are up for rotation. One in the Ngāti Kuri Rohe, one in the Muriwhenua Rohe and three in the General Rohe.
You do not need to live in a particular constituency in order to represent them, however all three of your Nominators need to live in the constituency that you will be representing. They are nominating YOU to represent THEM and their best interests on the Board.
Please be mindful that the nomination process closes at 4pm on 1st October. Please give enough time to return the form to the office and allow us to ensure that the Nominator and Supporters are all actually registered, that we have their correct details, and that they are all living in the area where they want their candidate to represent. That closing time is verified by Election Services, so if an application arrives in late, they will not deem it as a valid nomination. The oversight of Election Services at every stage from the nomination until voting closes ensures that our voting process is independent and transparent.

You can register right up until voting closes, and Election Services can send you a special voting pack.

You can only Nominate once
The annual packs will be mailed out by early November. If you have not received your pack by 15th November, and you believe you are registered, please call the office. Election Services takes our database of registered members over the age of 18. If you have not received your pack, we may not have an updated address for you, etc. We want as many people as possible to have their say in Nominating but also voting. Please let us know so that we can check why you haven’t received your pack and we can communicate with Election Services to ensure you have time to vote.
