Tēnā koe i roto i ngā āhuatanga o te hōtoke,
The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is a crown entity, responsible for protecting the environment, and enhancing our way of life and the economy.
We are looking for two new members for Ngā Kaihautū Tikanga Taiao, our statutory Māori advisory committee, which provides advice to the EPA on policy, process, and decisions of the EPA to help ensure Māori perspectives are taken into account.
Past members of Ngā Kaihautū Tikanga Taiao have brought distinction to the work of the EPA through their mana, leadership, governance skills, strategic thinking, depth of knowledge of te reo, tikanga and mātauranga, and relevant professional experience in environmental matters. Ngā Kaihautū memberships are for a three-year term. The commitment is not full-time, but is comparable to a board membership.
